Lighthouse Ministries

Lighthouse of NW Florida, Inc. is accredited through and affiliated with FACCCA (The Florida Association of Christian Child Caring Agencies, Inc.). FACCCA accredited members provide residential care for approximately 1500 children per year. This care is provided without state funds, and represents millions of dollars of annual savings to the taxpayers of Florida.

FACCCA is a voluntary peer accrediting association of Christian children's ministries. It was created in 1982 as a 501-C3 not-for-profit organization. The stated purpose of FACCCA is to provide accreditation for residential faith-based children and foster care programs, which choose to register with FACCCA in lieu of becoming state licensed. This religious exemption from licensing was created in 1984 by Florida Statute 409.176.
